For Bookings Please:
Contact your concierge/booking agent or call us directly and one of our crew will be delighted to propose an itinerary.We highly recommend you book your excursion in advance. Should adverse weather affect your booking we will endeavour to book you to another day or please ask about our alternative options.
Your Excursion Duration:
Flight paths and time away are at the discretion of the pilot and may vary with regard to lift off location, weather and safety.
What To Bring:
Camera, sunglasses, sturdy footwear, warm jacket, and a smile.
Ground Transfers:
We have ample free parking or we can arrange courtesy transport to and from your Queenstown accommodation.
Payment & Prices:
We accept all major credit cards, eftpos, cash and valid vouchers.

All prices are in NZ$ and include 15% GST.

In the event of inclement weather and no alternative flight chosen, a
full refund will be made at point of sale.
Cancellations within: 24 hours of tour receive a 25% refund, 7 days of tour receive a 50% refund, 8 days or more receive a 100% refund.

OTT has been operating since 1986 and we are a Civil Aviation Approved Operator.
Our flying history dates back to 1976, this experience has given our pilots intimate knowledge of the special places and unique people within the region along with an ingrained respect for the local weather and mountainous terrain.
Over The Top has been awarded the International Helicopter Operators Safety Award since 1999 when it begun, plus our pilots all have individual safety records.
We operate a fleet of Airbus Helicopters, utilising both the H125 Squirrel and luxurious H130. These helicopters have been chosen for their proven performance and safety margin operating in mountainous terrain.
One of our favorites is the Milford Ultimate and it lives by its name. Or for a specialised itinerary reach out to us and we will create an Over The Top Extraordinary Helicopter Excursions just for you.
As we are a weather dependent experience, it is best to book helicopter experiences on your first available day and to keep spare days free in your itinerary in case it is necessary to reschedule.
Over The Top are proud to hold landing concessions in Conservation Areas in New Zealand, Fiordland, Otago and Milford. We also have private and exclusive access to High Country Stations plus consented helipads at restaurants, wineries, private golf course and homes
Should it not be possible to fly due to inclement weather, we will endeavour to ‘roll’ the reservation over to the next available day. If all rescheduling options are exhausted and you are unable to fly with us in the event of a weather disruption you will be offered a refund (outsourced partners may have their own cancellation policy).
Yes, we offer complimentary shuttles from our downtown location, The Clubhouse or your accommodation to our helipad at Queenstown Airport. Please request shuttle transport at time of booking.
We suggest wearing long pants together with bringing a few layers of jumpers/jackets/tops you can put on or take off depending on conditions of the day and your comfort levels. We further suggest you ensure you wear closed-toe shoes, like hiking shoes or sneakers. Avoid open-toed shoes, sandals, high heels, flip flops, and slippers. Keep in mind we operate in an Alpine Environment and conditions can change very rapidly and be colder out on Alpine Locations than what you experience on the ground in Queenstown.
