This span of over fifty years gives our crew an intimate knowledge of the special places and unique people within the region along with an ingrained respect for the local weather and mountainous terrain.We look forward to sharing this expertise with you.
Over The Top operate the most modern helicopters in New Zealand. Distinctively ALL BLACK, our fleet incorporates the Airbus H130 and the Airbus H125, as well as the availability of the Airbus H145. Our helicopters feature luxurious leather seats and Bose noise cancelling headsets.
For enhanced safety each helicopter is fitted with an Eye In The Sky Aviation Certified Cockpit Video, Audio & Flight Data Recorder to monitor our aircraft are operating in accordance with national regulations and to the Companies own Safety Management System.

Tim Stanton
Operations Support Officer
Tim started with Over The Top in April 2024, having just traded the big smoke of Auckland City for the big mountains of Queenstown. Tim joins Over The Top with six years of previous helicopter operations and VIP liaison experience. Now dressed in black, Tim is keen to assist you to ensure a memorable Over The Top excursion. As an operations octopus, you'll see Tim doing anything from taking bookings and managing client requests to fueling helicopters and preparing picnics, whilst in the background he'll also be busy working on safety management.
